Are you a hands-on Payroll Manager looking for a challenging new position?

Whitehill Pelham is working with a leading global educational organisation who firmly believe in putting their customers first. The organisation has a global footprint and supports its students to achieve their dreams and aspirations through five different business streams. The office is located within easy access to Cambridge train station and this is a permanent role in the organisation following the implementation of a new payroll system.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

-Preparation of five separate payrolls within the organisation with a total of 1,200 employees both salaried and hourly paid using the ADP Freedom payroll system
-Accurate processing of both monthly and bi-monthly payrolls
-Manage the Nest Pensions Auto Enrolment process including opt-outs
-Maintain correct and accurate PAYE, National Insurance, and Statutory Payments records
-Reconcile and balance payroll accounts
-Interpret company multiple T&Cs and ensure correctly processed in the payroll
-Ensure compliance throughout payroll and adhering to TPR and HMRC regulations
-Liaise with third-party providers ensuring court orders, SAO, and CSA are applied according to instructions and payments made to meet with each order
-Form part of the testing team when the ADP Freedom payroll system transition to Moorepay project restarts
-Oversee the payment of 10 overseas payrolls working with external payment provider
-Compile and introduce robust, compliant payroll procedures ensuring ongoing updates are maintained
-Introduce a tracker for payroll queries producing monthly metrics and RCA report
-Manual calculations may be required

You will have experience/knowledge of the following:

-Managing multi-site payrolls
-Using ADP and/or Moorepay
-Working to very tight deadlines
-Tax and social security in other countries' payroll in addition to exposure to UK--based employees seconded abroad and their tax implications.
-Thinking analytically with eye for detail
-Intermediate Excel skills
-Proven communication skills
